The Mercersburg Vibrancy Steering Committee (MVSC), in association with the Borough of Mercersburg, Montgomery Township, and Peters Township, developed the attached Mercersburg Area Comprehensive Plan and associated documents in 2025, with the help of consultant HRG.

The creation of this plan was funded by Montgomery Township, Peters Township, local Mercersburg patrons, businesses, and the Pennsylvania Department of Economic Development.
